September 30 Day Challenge: Day 4

Quarantine Banana Bread

30 Day Challenge : Day 4 "Bake something yummy"

Good morning! Nothing I like better with my coffee in the morning than a warm, thick slice of homemade banana bread. Weird thing happened at the beginning of my breastfeeding journey, my milk supply dropped due to stress and I tried to find brewer's yeast (several people told me you could use it to make "lactation cookies"), but literally any yeast was nowhere to be found anywhere. Not only were people hoarding and stockpiling T.P. and hand sanitizer, but apparently all the yeast was gone? I then began to notice a lot of people were making bread... ya know, just in case everything really did implode, at least you all had yeast to make bread...So there's that. Anyway, I've always loved making banana bread, even pre-pandemic. My favorite way to make it is with buttermilk, and adding in chocolate chips! Try this simple recipe from The Kitchen Is My Playground found on Pinterest:

Let me know how you like this banana bread recipe! Don't forget to try it with chocolate chips! I love to sit out on the patio with a cup of coffee and a slice of "naner bread".
